At 15 years old, feral Checkerboard and Grace were no longer safe outside. They are slow, losing weight and needed more than could be provided. I brought them inside but they never assimilated. That's an undesirable way to live. So, an outdoor enclosure is being prepared for them. Hopefully it will be the best of both worlds. In the meantime, the younger, spryer feral community is checking out the attraction while it is still open to the public. More to come for our precious seniors.
