No Dentures for Sweet Pea

Our Sweet Pea had teeth removed the other day. It was a traumatic experience for all of us. She does not like to go into a carrier. Period. Several appointments were completed and each one was a struggle.

At length she finished surgery and is at home and in the MASH unit. She is doing really well. Taking medication uneventfully and being calmer and more trusting than I've ever known her to be. I think she feels safe; she behaves as though she feels that way. Our time together is not filled with distractions or competition for attention- just she and I. This may be the best thing that could have happened. I had doubts about her willingness to accept confinement even in a much larger space but she is grooving on it. Our girl.
