Not a Happy Camper

Legs woke me up at 3 am complaining about captivity. He has mourned non- stop for hours now. I've put on mellow music, he's allowed me to pet him and he is inconsolable.

Even though it must be done, I have concerns about removing him from his territory for an extended stay.

He has his standing in his community to protect. If he disappears from the community after getting in a fight, he could lose status. We don't want that to happen. It's a balancing act- to intervene yet not interfere.
