Grey Tail is a tad hissy but it's nothing really. This is clearly an abandoned domestic cat, not feral.
Not bad at all for the first day. We'll get there.

Abandoned cats suffer in the abandonment. They were not raised with the knowledge of how to survive on the street. They do not have community; cats are very interdependent creatures. It is exhausting for them to be alone and on guard unendingly.
It will spend the next week sleeping and learning that it is safe.
