This exceptional locket is in great antique condition. The delicate etching and scrollwork is crisp for its age.
It was made by J. Gloster LTD. in 1909. This piece is from Birmingham, England.
Hallmarks along the rim are clear and mirror those in the center of the lid.
The hinge and clasp are very strong and reliable. There are interesting little 'teeth' along the bottom.
The patina is intact and the silver under it looks smooth and even. The new owner could easily polish it up if that is desired.
