Three Bundles of Joy

Three, three week old kittens came in from the shelter to be fostered. Adorable all, there is nothing that I can think of that is cuter than a kitten. the first day and a half was spent getting to know each others patterns. They played hard, slept hard and ate well. They became Tanner, Charlie and Lydia.

Three year old Splash did his nurturing thing and welcomed the babes into the fold with as much gentleness as anyone could ever hope for in a cat. He was not quite as understanding when little Charlie began to root around on his underside looking for a nipple and left the scene. He continued his watch at a distance where the pointy little teeth could not reach. I think he got nibbled on and those teeth are sharp.
